Twenty four hour butler service (quite opulent), an on call chauffer driven Bentley and, wait for it….if you bring a pet it will receive it’s own WELCOME HAMPER. For fuck’s sake!! If you bring in a London escort I wonder if they’ll be any complementary condoms. I expect not.

OK. I geddit. The people who own the Milestone and The Montague also own this one. They have nailed the upmarket London boutique hotel thang. Absolutely nailed it. This is the more contemporary of the three – but who knows – I am probably about to unearth a futuristic hotel by these guys next. ‘The most opulent hotel on Mars – welcome to The Marsvellous.’

If you look out of your bedroom window you may be able to see the Queen looking out of hers, looking at you. Yes, you really are that close to Buck House.

They have 30 rooms, and guess what? Yes, that’s right. They are luxurious and opulent. The staff here outnumber the guests two to one, and that is when the hotel is fully booked, which it usually is.
